Terra Ferma’s Expertise Brings Shell Petrol to Gunnedah

Terra Ferma, established in 2006, continues its glittering track record of success in projects scattered across the state. With ringing momentum from the Harbour Bridge and Railcorp projects, its latest venture, Gunnedah’s first 24-hour, 8500 sqm Shell petrol station, is highly anticipated.

A $4.5 million project, the Shell station is well underway with completion set for September 2019. Catering to B-double trucks and road trains, the site will feature a Shell outlet, convenience store, 24-hour café, and a 24-hour Burger Edge store with drive-through. It is the first site in Gunnedah area with the ability to service large road trains.

Terra Ferma recognised an opportunity to service a need in Gunnedah after observing the outdated fuelling and food service available on major trucking routes.

Terra Ferma’s extensive research and analysis of the industry established an effective framework for state-of-the-art service stations and highway service centres. The first of these will be found in Gunnedah. In keeping with their reputation of professionalism, early milestones of the project have been on time and to budget.

The project is expected to be the start of a strong partnership with Shell, with Terra Ferma looking to expand to five more petrol stations in the coming months. Sourcing land and achieving DA approval is to start in the second semester of 2019.
