Diaa Shaker

Director

Diaa’s 20 years of experience enables him to understand all elements of property development and building construction. Diaa drives many of Terra Ferma’s initiatives, and is recognised for his keen eye for opportunities with a commitment to the highest level of integrity.

Delivering a wide range of successful multimillion-dollar projects, Diaa is driven, motivated and ambitious. Over the years, Diaa has developed a reputation for his outstanding aptitude and approach to business management, various development models, project delivery, feasibility studies, due diligence, strategic planning, and project development.

Tony Sgrow

General Manager

With a demonstrated history of achieving targeted outcomes while maintaining a collaborative working relationship, Tony exhibits the ideal skillset to drive harmony across all business functions. Overseeing all divisions – Marketing, IT, HR, Finance and Administration – Tony makes it his priority to facilitate a highly inclusive culture that consistently exceeds expectations.

Tony is an accomplished General Manager with the vision and leadership insights needed to strategically plan, direct and control company operations. He capitalises on innovative business opportunities with a proven track record of strategy formulation and implementation, and contributes directly to all company-wide success. Tony brings with him extensive experience in high-level decision making in large companies, such as his position as Co-founder and Director of Kelair Pumps, where he finessed his expertise over a 36-year tenure.

After working in industrial equipment sales for Ingersoll Rand for 8 years, Tony was a shareholder in an industrial pump sales company. Though the company was sold in 2004, Tony stayed as General Manager until his semi-retirement in 2015. He also currently is the Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Collerina Cobalt Pty Ltd.

Heba Shaker

Design Manager

Heba is Terra Ferma’s Design Manager, with more than twelve years’ experience in interior design. Heba has proven skills and experience in planning, detailing, coordinating and managing personnel, in both the public and private sectors. She also demonstrates excellent communication skills, public relations and problem-solving ability, which she uses to spearhead positive change in the design and construction industry.

An experienced business owner and skilled in AutoCAD, Design Management, Project Co-ordination. Heba is a commodity to any project. Heba has experience in many levels of the construction industry, from trade level to management in the residential, with low to medium-rise developments, as well as commercial projects.

JOSEPH SGRO

Development Manager

Responsible for implementing new business development strategies while nurturing existing client relationships, Joseph helps with advisory strategic goals. Joseph oversees and collaborates tender submissions, reviews documentation prior to acceptance, and ensures follow-through to completion of all projects.

Joseph ensures that the vision is understood and undertaken by all members of the team. Through obtaining market insights, he targets current and future growth areas and ensures a consistently high-quality handover. Joseph’s unparalleled expertise and knowledge across a wide range of aspects in the industry ensures a collaborative, energetic and professional project journey.

Joseph has been responsible for the development of 35 service stations, 7 carwashes, and numerous fast food outlets since 1985. Having been in the industry for over 40 years, Joseph has built invaluable business relationships, most notably with a number of major oil companies. His track record of success has given him unparalleled knowledge in all aspects of the industry.
